REFUND & RETURNS POLICY

At ROOT, we want you to love your product. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer a 14-day return policy from the date of delivery for standard orders.

Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and unopened, with the original seal intact, and returned in its original packaging. Items that have been opened, used, or show signs of wear will not be accepted for return or refund.

Non-Eligible Returns
We do not accept returns on items that have been opened, used, damaged through misuse, or modified. We are also unable to process returns or refunds for products not purchased directly from tryrootorganics.com. If your product was purchased from an unauthorized third-party seller, we cannot verify its authenticity or condition and therefore cannot honor any return or refund request.

How to Initiate a Return
Contact us within 14 days of receiving your order at hello@tryrootorganics.com. Include your order number and reason for return. We will respond within 48 hours with return instructions.

Refund Processing
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds are processed within 5 to 7 business days back to your original payment method.

Damaged or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@tryrootorganics.com with photos of the damage. We will send a replacement at no cost or issue a full refund at your choice. No return of the original item is required for verified damaged goods claims.

Pre-Order Terms
Some products on tryrootorganics.com are sold as Pre-Order items. Pre-Order items are clearly and explicitly marked as "PRE-ORDER" on the product page and on the Add to Cart button at checkout. By placing a Pre-Order, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• Payment is collected in full at the time your Pre-Order is placed, not at time of shipment.
• Estimated fulfillment for Pre-Order items is typically within 30 days of order date. This is an estimate, not a guarantee, and fulfillment timing may vary based on production and supply timelines.
• Pre-Orders may be cancelled for a full refund at any time within 14 days of the original order date. To cancel, contact us at hello@tryrootorganics.com with your order number.
• After 14 days from the order date, Pre-Orders are considered final and are not eligible for cancellation or refund, except in the case of a damaged, defective, or materially delayed item as otherwise addressed by ROOT at its discretion.
• Once a Pre-Order ships, our standard Refund & Returns Policy above applies.

Subscription Cancellation
Subscription orders may be paused, modified, or cancelled at any time after the initial shipment and prior to the next scheduled billing date through your account subscription portal or by contacting hello@tryrootorganics.com. Cancelling a subscription does not retroactively refund past shipments; standard return eligibility (unused, unopened, within 14 days of delivery) applies to each shipment. Refunds are not provided for subscription orders that have already been charged and shipped unless the item arrives damaged or defective.
